Today, 17th July 2024, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our new office in Barawe, Lower Shabelle! 
This marks a significant milestone for us as we expand our efforts to support and empower the local community.
Our esteemed Executive Director, Ms. Zainab Omar Ali, graced the occasion with her presence and expressed her enthusiasm for this new chapter. “I am incredibly excited about the opportunities this new office brings to the people of Barawe,” said Ms. Ali. “It is a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact and fostering growth and development in the region.”
Governor Omar Sheikh Abdi also participated in the opening ceremony and congratulated BAYWAN on this significant milestone. Additionally, representatives from various civil society organizations attended the event, showing their support and solidarity.
The Barawe office will enable us to extend our programs and services, providing vital support to women, youth, and marginalized communities. We look forward to working closely with the Barawe community and continuing our mission to promote peace, empowerment, and prosperity.
