Empowering Communities through Awareness and Action!
Today, Bay Women Association Network (BAYWAN) visited IDP camps in both Baidoa and Hudur districts to raise awareness about the importance of Early Warning Early Response (EWER). Our dedicated team provided vital information on how to report incidents, the best channels to use, and how to access assistance when needed.
In addition to the awareness campaign, we conducted an assessment of the camps’ current situation, identifying sick individuals and understanding the urgent needs of the community at this time.
This initiative aims to ensure that communities are equipped with the knowledge and resources to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, and to provide necessary support where it is most needed.
