Bay Women Association Network (BAYWAN) Visits Local IDP Camp for Early Warning, Early Response Awareness
Our dedicated BAYWAN team recently conducted a meaningful visit to a local internally displaced persons (IDP) camp, leading an awareness session on Early Warning, Early Response (EWER). During this visit, we engaged with the community, emphasizing the importance of being vigilant and prepared in the face of potential conflicts or disasters.
Through interactive discussions, we shared practical strategies on how to recognize early warning signs and respond effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of all community members. We’re particularly proud of the active participation from women, youth, and marginalized groups, whose voices are vital to creating a resilient, unified community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this impactful event. Together, we are working towards building safer, more responsive communities.
