We are proud to announce that BAYWAN’s Executive Director, Ms. Zainab Omar, recently participated in a crucial meeting focused on empowering local CSOs to hold the government and humanitarian agencies accountable, with a strong emphasis on prioritizing child rights in Somalia. 
This significant event, organized by @gredosom in partnership with @SaveChildrenSO and supported by @DKinSomalia, brought together civil society, government, and the humanitarian sector for vital dialogues.
The meeting featured ministerial-level guests from the Ministries of Labor, Justice, Public Works, Humanitarian Affairs, Internal Security, and Women & Human Rights of Southwest State of Somalia.
Through this initiative, local organizations like BAYWAN are empowered to influence policies and ensure the protection of every Somali child’s rights.
